When you are young, you can take your health for granted. Try to feed yourself sensibly, get a reasonable amount of sleep and exercise and don’t do anything too stupid. When you do push yourself too hard (physically or socially), with a bit of rest, you tend to bounce back quite quickly!
However as you get older, things no longer «just work» like they did when you were young. It’s not just that you are slower or that your recovery times become a lot longer. Some parts of your health really start needing a lot of attention.
